Zrazy Zawijane step by step

  1. Dice pickles, onion, and bacon.
  2. Pound slices of beef to 1/8 in thick.
  3. Season beef with salt and pepper, thinly spread dijon mustard on top of each slice.
  4. Divide pickle, onion, and bacon on one end of each beef slice.
  5. Roll up slices, tucking the ends in and securing with skewers or string.
  6. Heat butter in skillet, brown rolls on all sides adding butter as needed.
  7. Once browned, add about 1 cup of hot water, gently stirring up browned bits.
  8. Return beef rolls to skillet, bring to simmer and cover until tender, about 1 hour.
  9. Remove beef, thicken gravy with 1-2 tbsp of flour and water as needed.
  10. Season gravy to taste with salt and pepper.
  11. Remove string or skewers and serve with gravy.
